Array antenna using high permittivity LSE-NRD guide at 60GHz

摘要

Radiation characteristics of a radiator using a high permittivity LSE-NRD guide were theoretically and experimentally investigated at 60 GHz. The novelty of the present technique lies in the use of simple radiator, which consists of a tapered dielectric strip of simple structure having good compatibilities with millimeter-wave integrated circuits. Since the radiator has a broad radiation pattern, a new type of array antenna structure was successfully fabricated.
