A service-aware quality measurement and management based on application-oriented networking

摘要

This paper proposes an Application-Oriented Networking framework which can deal with service-aware quality measurement and management. The framework is constructed based on our Front-End system that dynamically delivers application programs into workstations distributed in networks. The front-end system enables the framework to invoke and control appropriate quality measurement and management programs on demand. By adopting the framework, service providers can measure and manage quality of service according to their own service status information and distribution of user accesses. Furthermore, service providers can flexibly enhance their measurement and management programs to deal with changes of service specification.
