Proposal on dynamic load-balancing for distributed management couting load information delay

Toward more promising distributed management, it is one of the significant challenges to hold the balance of the load of management tasks in an overall network, by distributing management scripts based on the load of managed devices. For a solution to this, the authors have proposed a dynamic load-balancing method for the distributed management. A management system collects load information of the managed devices at periodic intervals in the method; however, there arises an inconsistency between the delayed load information and the actual load of a managed device, typically when the load information arrives behind via a wide area network. In this paper, we extend the proposed method by introducing a new management script and a new algorithm. The management script should be distributed based on the load information delay, and it provides a facility to hold the balance of the load of management tasks dynamically within a delay-bounded local network determined by the new algorithm. By the management script, the extended method can bold the balance of the load of management tasks in an overall network less inconsistently. Some implementation aspects are also discussed.
