Responses of a pulse neuron model with the alpha-function PSP characteristics to multiple input pulse trains

A mathematical pulse neuron model, which is incorporating the postsynaptic potential with an alpha-function and the refractoriness with exponential decay, is considered in this article. The response of the model neuron to two periodic input pulse trains with a phase difference among them is numerically examined. An example of the model neuron's response that seems to be a temporal coding of the input phase difference is shown.
