IMT-2000 Packet international roaming internetwork control

摘要

In this paper, we propose the internetworking packet control method for realizing IMT2000 internetworking roaming between ATM based Network and IP based Network. In this method, efficient packet control and the data transfer can be realized by protocol conversion function between different datalink layer and packet call control by arranging relay node on ATM based network between the Visited network and the Home network. We appraised the proposed method about the amount of signal between the network and the delay of data traffic in various viewpoints, and showed its effectiveness.
