摘要

To obtain an orientation for rapid and preciseevaluation in a constant load method, a limiting potential ofprotection of two-phase stainless steel (SUS 329J4L) wasinvestigated at a stress in plastic region. In the tests under thisconditions, the limiting potential of protection (-0.85 V vs.Ag/AgCl) could be rapidly and precisely determined by usingparameters of relative elongation percentage (εr), decreasingpercentage of area (A), tensile strength (ST), yield stress (σy) andtotal length of cliff (LC). In particular, parameters, A and σr, wereeffective in consideration of working efficiency. A rupturing timeof steel was able to be determined by a measurement of steadystrain rate (RSS), which was an effective parameter in a predictionof rupturing time.
