IFTA Rootstock Research Fundin

Supporting research to benefit the industry has been a long-standing goal of IFTA. Since 1976, IFTA has funded more than 353 research projects, totaling nearly 1.1 million dollar. Funded projects have covered everything from basic and applied research to fire blight, PGRs and more, in apple, plum, pear, peach and cherry. Each year the IFTA Research Committee, made up of growers, nurserymen, researchers and board members, consider projects that may have a large impact on the industry in the future.
