Prospects for the Japanese Society of Environment Control in Biology and Its Journal, Environment Control in Biology

摘要

Just a year ago, a foreword prepared by Dr. Yasushi Hashimoto, President of the Japanese Society of Environment Control in Biology, was published in this journal. He analyzed 40 years of history of the society in the context of the scientific and social background, the first efforts to establish the society by the founder, the late Dr. Jiro Sugi, and the 'succession' of scientists involved with the society.
