Catalogue of bird skin collection in Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute (FFPRI)

We provide a list of 4,790 bird skins that have been kept in the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute (FFPRI). They were collected mainly from 1920s to 1930s by the Wildlife Research Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture at that time. The collection includes many specimens of birds that had collided with lighthouses during migration and specimens collected from the Kurile Islands.
