Effects of restriction of nutrients and water supply and suppliment of calcium and bacteria mixture on vegetables grown in a plastic greenhouse on sandy soil

The effects of nutrients and water restriction and calcium (Commodity name : Pyrrol) and bacteria mixture (Commodity name : Sun-up) suppliment on the growth of spinach, pea and radish raised in a plastic greenhouse on sandy soil with an automatic irrigation system were examined. By the restriction of nutrients and water supply, sugar contents in spinach leaves and radish roots increased. A calcium fertilizer made the appearance of radish root better. A batecria mixture increased pea pod yield. The effects of these 2 agents were not conspicuous under cool climate and no organic matter application on sandy soil.
