SULPHUR REMOVAL OF PIG-IRON BY POWDER FINE-CRYSTALLINE LIME

摘要

The characteristic of physicochemical properties of powdered lime adduced obtained by a way of gristing of the fine-divided limestone in cyclone ovens is adduced. The results of that lime test at blasting of liquid iron with the purpose of its test desulfuration are given. Established, that the tested powder lime as a desulphurating reactant for injected processing of metal, has a number of the relevant technological advantages: by high flow state without applyingпAB, stability to a hydration, capacity to enough long-term storage lossless reactivities etc.
