The invertebrate fauna of the Kemerton Estate, Worcestershire. Part II: arboreal habitats and Beggarboys Wetland.

摘要

The first part of this study concerned terrestrial habitats of the invertebrate fauna of the Kemerton Estate, UK, and was published in an earlier issue of the same journal (156 (1995) 89-105). This paper considers the role of the woody vegetation ofthe estate (semi-natural woodlands, wet copses, small plantations, mature ornamental trees, small ornamental clumps, an arboretum, and hedgerows) as a major invertebrate conservation resource. Fifteen species (14 insects and one arachnid) are selected to highlight the biodiversity of the estate, and notes are given on these.
