摘要

It was possible to develop chrome-free porous refractories using nickel oxide as substitute for chrome oxide from the viewpoint of environmental protection. The corrosion resistance of the developed refractory was equal to that of the conventional porous refractories containing chrome oxide. According to this experiment, it was clarified that nickel oxide was effective as a substitute for chrome oxide as a raw material. In the future, the authors intend to confirm the effect of the substitution by continuing field tests.
