摘要

When fused alumina lump is pulverized it produces aggregates consisting of various size particles. The particle size distribution of the aggregates is generally called a grain size distribution, and the method to measure the particle size distribution of the aggregates is to separate it into size increments using sieves. This measurement method is called particle size by screening. Although this is a very primitive and simple technology it is a superior measurement method having a very wide scope of application from several dozen mm to several dozen ìm.
