摘要

The organic matter in coal undergoes both aerobic and anaerobic transformation processes. In each case, the redox conditions of development of the organic system are analyzed, and the dependence of coal's petrographic composition on these conditions is considered. The relation between the oxygen activity, which characterizes the state of the organic system, and the basicity of the water-mineral system is discussed. In terms of the redox conditions, the regional propagation of petrographic types of coal is considered. The possibility of monitoring the oxygen activity in the external organic system is considered.
