The results of geological and geophysical studies are analyzed to throw light on the presence of anunsolidified magma chamber beneath El'brus Volcano in the Caucasus, as well as its depth and approximatedimensions. We provide an upper and a lower bound on the estimates of the heat stored by the chamber in thehost rocks, which were heated by the volcano's magma chamber from its origination until now, incorporatingthe variation in the dimensions of the magma chamber during its evolution and the heat storage in it. We exam-ine the geological and geophysical conditions that favor the use of thermal energy in the hot rocks that surroundthe magma chamber of El'brus Volcano.
