Processing Coal Slurry in Sedimentary Centrifuges

Tests of sedimentary centrifuges in the dehydration of granular anthracite slurries that contain 20-25 percent of < 0.071 mm particulates indicate that the OGSh-759L-01 outperforms the NOGSh-1320 centrifuge. When using the OGSh-759L-01 centrifuge in slurry processing and reducing the particulate burden in recycled water, there is no need for flotation since the ash content of the slurry in the centrifugate is 71.2 percent (matching that of coal-enrichment wastes).
