The optimizing adjustment of the technological operating parameters of the purification installations of the byproduct coke plant with the degree of removal of contaminants being increased made it possible to more closely approach to the solution of the problem of creation of a drainless water recycle system. Requirements were also set up for the quality of sewage water to be used in the recycle system; basic trends were formulated for the utilization of purified sewage waters for the needs of the byproduct coke plant:(a) for the makeup of the recirculating water supply of the closed heat-exchange apparatus;(b) in the recycle system of the ash-slime collector;(c) in the flotation section of coal preparation plant No. 2;(d) for the wet quenching of coke.
