Photorefractive grating recording with two orthogonally polarized eigenwaves (ordinary and extraordinary) and vectorial coherent oscillation in a backward four-wave mixing scheme in iron-doped periodically poled lithium niobate are reported. (C) 2003 Optical Society of America. [References: 23]
