Propagation of polarized waves in inhomogeneous media: comment

It is argued in J. Opt. Soc. Am. A. 33, 1385 ( 2016) that some of our previous results on the evolution of the polarization state of electromagnetic beams propagating in atmospheric turbulence are not valid and/or our work is not useful. We address such arguments and give clarifications. (C) 2016 Optical Society of America
