The method of ceramic surfacing (welding) has an advantage over the well-known methods (wet and flame guniting, partial relaying) for removing significant damage and for current preventive hot repair of the brickwork of coking chambers.The methods proposed by MAK and Soyuz are not inferior to the best world technologies.The method most suitable and convenient for repair work to be carried out by refractory teams of coke sections is the method proposed by MAK: ceramic surfacing. In order to extend the capabilities of the method, it is necessary to lengthen the service life of repaired portions of the brickwork on the extreme heating flues to 3 years.
