Computer aided modal and harmonic response analyses of the tool holding device of a vertical CNC milling machine

摘要

This paper reports on the computer aided modal analysis of the spindle of a vertical CNC milling machine by Finite Element Method using application software. The software technique to analyse the harmonic response of the tool holding device underthe cuffing process itself has also been developed.
