摘要

Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is a non-conventional type of reluctance motor. It is highly efficient and of low cost type motor that requires neither pure ac source nor perfect dc source. Hence the converter required to drive the motor is a special one, which is either of unipolar current or bipolar current source type that generates current when the particular phase is energised. This paper presents the design procedure of an asymmetrical half-bridge converter along with the simulation results.
