摘要

In order to monitor the weight of moving loads on road tracks using a load cell platform is standard practice. The evaluation of such moving loads for weight and velocity assessment without disturbance to the vehicle is a common requirement in highways today. For this, the analysis of the moving load signals involves a second order damped nonlinear differential equation which has to be solved instantly. The method of assessing the transient signals of such a moving load is performed using an ARM7 Embedded controller. This enables the detection of the actual load and its transport velocity with an indication on an LCD display.
