摘要

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a pivotal part of smart environment and is employed in defense, residential and official complexes for various applications. The networked sensor nodes are often prone to failures and pose a major functional challenge. This paper presents a fault tolerant topology for forwarding the sensed data in a localized WSN with reliability and effectively addresses the issue of node failure. The experimental results are visualized using MOTE-VIEW 2.0.1. The results discussed will aid in appropriate topology control towards the design of a localized topology for sensor networks.
