Study of mutual coupling in coplanar capacitive coupled probe fed microstrip antenna

Mutual coupling between rectangular micro strip antennas has been investigated experimentally by a series of measurements of the S-parameters. Mutual coupling level decreases monotonically with increasing separation between elements with the E-plane coupling and the H-plane coupling for typical adjacent element. Measurements have been conducted for mutual coupling between two rectangular patches in the S-band.
