摘要

Temperature sensor ICs are normally appearing in the temperature controlling system due to their linear characteristics. Thermistor is a low cost temperature sensor, but it has exponential characteristics. In present system the exponential thermistor characteristics have been linearized with the help of electronic circuit. The variation of temperature close to the SET POINT is sensed in terms of variation in the voltage and digitized by analog to digital converter, that decides the accuracy of the system. The ADC is configured in its continuous mode, which avoids the complexity of handshaking signals. In order to control the temperature, the system is interfaced to the microprocessor.
