Transient security evaluation of power systems using decision tree method

摘要

This paper presents a decision tree method for on-line transient security evaluation of power systems. The method can also be used to provide information about preventive control, if required. Based on inductive inference method, it infers decision rules from a large body of preanalysed data set and expresses them in the form of decision tree. The method is illustrated by an example.
