摘要

In this study, finite element simulation of rod extrusion process are carried out considering different adaptivity schemes. A comparison of these schemes is made based on stress, strain distribution, and load-stroke curves. Based on the simulation results it is observed that the success of the computer simulation is very much dependent on the mesh refinement criteria.
