摘要

High grade(S.M.S.)limestone samples are lying abundantly in mines and quarries of Narrow hills region in the Vindhyachal belt stretching from Satna upto Niwar(M.P.)having the composition SiO_2(2-3.556)CaO(49-5256),Mixed oxides(2-356),MgO(1.5-256)and alkalies(0.3-0.456).Both high and low grade(B.F.)limestone occur and exists layer-wise,side-by-side are sent to Crushers for blending to different sizes(5 mm to 30 mm)in order to follow the latest modern technique for better efficiency of the furnace.The novelty of the present method is that it is simple and less time consuming.It is useful as the preliminary separation of R_2O_3 is not essential.The results obtained by this method hardly deviates from the synthetic as well as experimental samples done by normal standard method.
