The compound [C6H4(NMe3)(2)-1,3][O-2](2) . 3NH(3) was prepared from [NMe4][O-2] via cation-exchange in liquid ammonia; the bond length of the superoxide anion was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis to be 134(3) pm. [References: 13]
