Letter to the editor: Comment on paul eling's (2013) neurognostic answer 'a founder of neuropsychology and his book'

I want to congratulate Paul Eling on his interesting article on Forbes Benignus Winslow and his book On Obscure Diseases of the Brain, and Disorders of the Mind: Their Incipient Symptoms, Pathology, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prophylaxis (Eling, 2013), which was first published in 1860 and underwent several editions (see Figure 2 for the second American edition) as well as translations. I wish to add some information on Winslow's ideas about seizure-preceding processes, which were only shortly mentioned in the article and make two minor corrections.
