摘要

Tension leg platform (TLP) is an important tool to exploit the oil and gas in the deep sea. Unfortunately, the increase of the length of the tension leg in the deep sea is more likely to occur vortex resonance, which is a serious threat to the safe operation of the offshore platform. In this paper, an improved dynamic model is presented for the nonlinear dynamics of the tension leg of the deep sea platform. The Galerkin method and finite difference method are utilized to calculate for the proposed model to study the responses of vortex-induced vibration of the TLP under the combined action of wave, current, pre-tension, platform motion and other complex loads. The simulation results illustrate the dynamic mechanism of TLP working in complex sea environment. The research results can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the design and evaluation of deep sea platform.
