摘要

This article experimentally investigates the ejector performance in a jet refrigeration system. From the test of different geometry ejectors, the ejector performance curves are obtained. The main geometry variables of the ejector are the throat area, the location of the main nozzle, and the length of the constant-area section. The results show that superior ejector geometry parameters exist for various operating conditions. On the basis of the experimental results, several important features of ejector performance characteristics are summarized. This research also provides evidences to support Munday and Bagster's theory of the secondary fluid effective area. An overall analysis of how geometry variables and the effective area of the secondary fluid may affect the performance of an ejector is presented for reference in ejector design. [References: 15]
