摘要

The paper presents a nondestructive express method for evaluation of dynamic strength of synthetic diamond grits from information on static strength indices and form factor of grits. The method is based on the empirical mathematical models and the related software developed by us. In addition to the computer-aided determination of the strength index, the method also allows a graphical estimation of the dynamic strength characteristic of grits using the nomographic chart given below. We describe the practical application of the express method put forward in the paper, and give the results of the reliability testing of information obtained by this method.
