摘要

The paper gives the results of an investigation on the development of a porous abrasive wheel based on synthetic diamond powder and a metal bond containing a pore-forming agent. The authors present the mixture composition, compaction and sintering conditions and show the influence of a pore-forming agent on the pore size in the wheel structure. The effect of the coolant amount, as supplied through pores, on the temperature in the grinding zone has been studied.
