The previous review of this system by [1989Rag] presented a tentative liquidus projection, isothermal sections at 900 and 427 deg C, and a tentative reaction scheme. The update by [1993Rag] added two more isothermal sections at 1127 and 1027 deg C from [1985Ans] and revised the reaction sequence for the Fe-FeSi-CrSi-Cr region based on the results of [1985Ans]. Recently, Lindholm [1997Lin] carried out a thermodynamic reassessment of this system presenting four isothermal sections between 1150 and 900 deg C.
