A young Boston boy, Arial Wellington George, in the first years of the 20th century, decided to go to medical school. He was not qualified to go to Harvard because he lacked the undergraduate college degree the Harvard Medical School required beginning in 1900. So he enrolled in Tufts University School of Medicine and began working his way through it.
