U.S.Department of Agriculture(USDA)procurement guidelines for biobased cleaning products could unfair ly exclude laundry products and bath and tile cleaners,based on underdeveloped criteria,according to SDA.In October 2006,USDA issued guidelines designat ing categories of biobased items for federal procure ment,which means those items must be given special consideration before federal agencies'purchases are made.
