摘要

Water-soluble co-polymer of acrylamide (AM) with N-(1,1-dimethyl-3-oxybutyl) acrylamide (DAAM) and N-tert-but)lacrylamide (N-t BAM) of variable compositions were prepared by free radical polymerization involving Fe(III)/thiourea redox system in which Fe(III) ions were loaded in the interlayer space of vermiculite prior to the polymerization reaction. The locus of the polymerization may be the interlayer space of vermiculite. The monomer reactivity ratios r_1 and r_2 for the monomer pairs for AM-DAAM and AM-N-t BAM co-polymers have been calculated by Fineman-Ross method and Kelen-Tudos method. The values of the product of reactivity ratios, r_1r_2 have been determined to be 0.1838 for the AM-DAAM co-polymer and 0.1612 for the AM-N-t BAM co-polymer. The co-polymer microstructures including monomer sequence distribution were calculated from the reactivity ratios.
