Charts 1 and 2 have been given for design of reinforced concrete triangular sections with equal steel on each side and valid for Fe 415 steel and two cover ratios (0.10, 0.15). For other steel types Fe 500 and Fe 550, the steel area obtained for Fe 415 should be multiplied by 0.83 and 0.75 respectively. For other cover ratios, these design charts are not valid. Further, these charts should not be used for sections under pure bending.
