Momentive sells North American composites and coating resins business

Momentive Specialty Chemicals is to sell its North America composites and coating resins business to PCCR USA, a subsidiary of European investment group Investindustrial. The deal includes manufacturing locations in Carperitersville, Illinois; Ennis, Texas; Forest Park, Georgia; and Lyn-wood, California. The business had sales of approximately $230 million in 2010 and employs some 225 people, who are expected to join PCCR when the deal closes.
