摘要

The growth and tuber yield of potato increased significantly due to nitrogen application on sandy loam soil (Typic Ustipsimment).Application of potassium also significantly enhanced the crop growth and tuber yield.Maximum doses of nitrogen (120 kg ha~(-1))and patassium (100 kg ha~(-1))proved most effective in increasing crop growth and tuber yield of potato.The content and uptake of N and K in tubers increased significantly with increasing levels of nitrogen and potassium.Combined application of 120 kg ha~(-1)N along with 100 kg ha~(-1)potassium showed significantresponse in crop growth,tuber yield and uptake of K and N.
