Northern Calif./Nev. Chapter Holds Surface Prep Workshop

On July 24, SSPC's Northern California/Nevada Chapter hosted a hands-on workshop at Abrasive Blasting & Coating in Vallejo, California. The purpose of this meeting was to allow members and guests to receive instruction and experience in proper surface preparation (according to SSPC-SP 2, SSPC-SP 3, SSPC-SP 11 and SSPC-SP 15) on steel substrates using various hand and power tools. The meeting, which also included a BBQ dinner, raffles, prizes and other fun events, was a great success with over 80 in attendance.
