We give a generalization of bi-Hamiltonian manifolds, extending the notion of compatible Poisson tensors to Jacobi structures. We present some necessary and sufficient conditions for two Jacobi structures defined on the same smooth manifold to be compatible. We establish the relationship between the compatibility and the conformal equivalence of two Jacobi manifolds. We study the reduction of compatible Jacobi manifolds. [References: 15]
