Utah mine sells to China in $200-mil deal

America West Resources has inked a $200 million deal to send coal from its Horizon mine to Chinese power plants over the next four years. The company said Thursday that it had secured storage and terminal space to send coal from its Utah mine to a port in the northwestern US. It planned to begin making shipments to China by June, with annual sales between $47 million and $51 million.
