摘要

Ni-based superalloy Hastelloy-X and refractory metals were examined on compatibility with molten NdCl3-NaCl-KCl mixture. Weight loss of the specimens caused by dipping was measured, and variation of compositions of Hastelloy-X also estimated by comparing RBS spectra obtained before and after the dipping. It was shown that moisture in these systems played an important role on the corrosion behavior. It was also shown that tantalum, tungsten and Hastelloy-X had sufficient corrosion-resistance against molten chlorides when moisture and oxygen were appropriately removed.
