Parque das Conchas (BC-10)—Delivering Deepwater Extended-Reach Wells in a Low-Fracture-Gradient Setting

Delivering wells capable of high production rates and high ultimate recovery of heavy oil is a key requirement for the ultradeepwater Parque das Conchas development in Block BC-10, Campos basin, Brazil. The well design presented here achieved these objectives while confronting key challenges including the shallow reservoir and the low-fracture-gradient setting.
