CVAR-fpso concepts with dry trees in ultradeep water

A new floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel concept that user compliant vertical access risers (CVARs) is under development by a Japan National Oil Corp.-headed joint industry project, The concept includes the use of dry trees, a workover rig, and the ability to complete and work over wells for deepwater oilfield development.
