摘要

Three-dimensional geological data can be used in reservoir simulation to improve the performance forecase and help optimize field development. A new workflow was developed to integrate the 3D geological data for constructing a reservoir model for field management. The model helps explain the reservoir-fluid flow behavior; identify bypassed oil resulting from reservoir heterogeneity; and plan infill locations, workovers, and a long-term development strategy for the field.
